TEMPERATURE REGULATION—Microlyocell is more breathable than cotton, containing millions of invisible nanocapillaries in its fibres which allow excess heat to be released. As a result you never need to worry about overheating.
MOISTURE TRANSPORT: The unique structure of Microlyocell means it offers 50% better moisture management than cotton. In comparison to polyester and synthetics, there is also much less moisture formed on the surface of the fiber for bacteria to grow. This gives Microlyocell great anti-stink properties.

NATURAL AND SUSTAINABLE FORESTS
Microlyocell is a cellulosic fibrie that is derived from eucalyptus trees and other sustainably grown trees. Wood and pulp used by Dagsmejan comes from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations. All fibers are certified with FSC® or PEFC™ and have been certified under the BioPreferred® Program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a governmental body.
Cotton needs up to five times as much high-quality farmland as microlyocell.
10-20 X LESS WATER THAN COTTON
Cotton, especially when industrially farmed to satisfy global demand, uses up to 20 times more water than microlyocell.
Sustainably managed forests – the source of raw materials for our fibers – have a positive influence on the water supply. As they are part of the natural water cycle, they do not need any artificial irrigation to grow. Lyocell technology only requires about one third of the process water needed in the viscose technology.
CLOSED LOOP PRODUCTION PROCESS IN AUSTRIA
Dagsmejan uses fibres from Lenzing, the worlds leading producer of cellulosic fibres and one of the most sustainable and ethical producers of any fibres worldwide.
The fibers are produced in a closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. This way you can sleep easy knowing that your choice of cooling pajamas isn't contributing to an adverse impact on the environment.
