THE UNIQUE BENEFITS
HOW DAGSMEJAN HELP YOU SLEEP BETTER
FIND YOUR TEMPERATURE—6X MORE BREATHABLE THAN COTTON
WHY? Temperature changes at night reduce our sleep quality, meaning we struggle to achieve deep sleep.
HOW? Dagsmejan sleepwear is packed with millions of breathable nanocapillaries. This helps to keep your skin temperature 1 degree cooler at night compared to cotton.
SLEEP NOT SWEAT—4X BETTER THAN COTTON AT DRAWING SWEAT AWAY FROM SKIN
WHY? We all sweat. But damp, uncomfortable skin can cause us to suffer poor sleep quality, or even wake up. Leaving us tired and restless.
HOW? With integrated moisture wicking zones Dagsmejan fabric transports moisture away from your skin. Meaning you enjoy the cooling effect of evaporation without ever feeling damp.
THE SOFTEST TOUCH, THE DEEPEST SLEEP—2X AS SOFT AS COTTON
WHY? As we sleep, blood flow to our skin increases as our cells regenerate and our skin becomes more sensitive to touch.
HOW? The secret to Dagsmejan softness is MicroModal. A super-soft and sustainable natural fibre made from beech wood.
A PERFECT FIT, ALL NIGHT—95% RATE IT 10/10 FOR COMFORT
WHY? We move while we sleep. If our sleepwear doesn't fit perfectly, it's easy to get tangled and uncomfortable.
HOW? Dagsmejan sleepwear moves with your body. No tags. flat seams, and carefully engineered waistbands mean you enjoy amazing comfort all night.
find out why our customers love their Dagsmejan
"Since few days I am proud owner of two night dresses, in which I sleep wonderfully! I have been wearing shirts in modal quality for years, but the functionality of your products is sensational! I admit, I was skeptical before, because a newspaper can write a lot...;-) But the shirt remains dry, despite night sweating (especially decollete), all around you have developed a super great product!"
"I still have my sweat attacks at night, but I don't wake up with wet t-shirts anymore and don't have to change anymore. Everything stays dry. It seems to me that I haven't slept so well for a long time. The purchase is worthwhile in many ways. I can only recommend the purchase."
"I love my sleepwear and this is the first time I am not woken up in sweat and sore throat due to temperature differences. The sleepwear is beautiful, light and feels like silk on one's skin. I have sensitive skin and this makes me unable to withstand all nightwear. This is smart, light and elegant. I love that I will not wake up in sweat the next day and feeling ill. The long sleeves help my wrists not hurting and warming them. It help on my rheumatic disease, to get a really great night of sleep, with no sweat and still be warm."
"What is promised in terms of heat balance and moisture absorption actually corresponds to the properties of these products. I am happy to have discovered these pyjamas."
The impact of temperature on our sleep
Professor Åkerstedt enhances the importance of temperature for our sleep quality, both the room temperature as well as our skin temperature. “You need to have a cold room to inhale cold air to reduce the core body temperature, helping you to fall asleep faster and to enjoy a higher sleep quality”. According to professor Åkersted most people have bedrooms that are far too warm and would benefit from lower the temperature. Keeping our skin temperature at the right degree is also important, this can be especially challenging during menopause.
According to professor Åkerstedt most pyjamas today are still developed for the colder bedrooms of the past and we need to rethink the concept. Totally avoiding sweating can be difficult but we can alleviate the symptoms of hot flashes with the right sleepwear and bedding.
"Sleepwear and bedding that help to manage temperature and sweat during the night can therefore support the body’s natural thermo-regulation."
